My English class just finished our huge play project of a Midsummer Night's Dream, and I couldn't resist. So I finally found a name for this little Nidoran, and that is Puck. She's really a mischievous type, and considering the character Puck's personality in a Midsummer Night's Dream, it just fit perfectly.

Not the fictional Nido-Nido Club of the non-existant soundtrack, "Love and Peace". THAT was inspired by the name Konami Kukeiha Club. This was something I did at an oekaki because everyone else was making rainbow pics, and it reminded me of neon lights (keep in mind, this isn't supposed to BE neon lights). At the time, I had just got back from watching Rush Hour 3, so I was already thinking of the sultry signs of Vegas. Plus, I think of Streets of Rage 2's "In the Bar" when I see this. SoR2 is fantastic, by the way. I spend more time plugging awesome games than writing these...

Now that I think of it, what exactly would this "club" even be? My guess is an amateur variety show, surprisingly family friendly (as all three of these chicks have way too much diginity to do worse). Just keep Nidorina away from the showtunes, kick out all patrons that yell "TAKE IT OFF" ("Alright, you've been warned, let's go.") and we'll be okie-dokie.

As you can see... Dira is my original character. She has grey ear tips. She is a Nidorina. Also, you can see how much I am not good at drawing with a mouse. The swirling, in the background, is what's going through her mind. She's sorta, dreaming of the heat of the sun.

I was too lazy to make the necklace part (or whatever the heck it is) of the outfit (or shade, haha). So I just scribbled in some stuff. The A.R. part on the top right stands for AnjiloRa. I feel that if somehow Nidorina and Nidorino of AU met their successors, they would think they were the greatest people of all time. "Nido-san" would immediately spasm about Nidorina's marriage and family, wishing she could have the same (and probably not surprisingly end up the same as if it's fated). I'm sure she'd also blather regarding her admiration of how Nidorina had to fight in a way to turn her life around, seeing as "Nido-san" is a go getter herself. Think of it this way. It's like any woman having a chance to speak to Oprah.

Nidorino, on the other hand, will just wish he looked as good as, and had the woman attracting luck that Mr. Nidorino has. Mr. Rino will just scoff and say "You've got a lot to learn, kid". I'm sure Mr. Nidorino would help teach Nidorino how to be more of a man, because let's face it, Nidorino not only needs it, but beyond the superficial, he wants the life Mr. Nidorino has, too. Sounds like Mr. and Mrs. Nidorino could be marriage counselors. Sorta.

A rather important Nidorina character from a Pokemon Dungeon comic that I'm probably never going to get around to drawing. Mostly because I'm the laziest person on the planet, but also because I have trouble drawing backgrounds and sequential images.

Sanja owns and runs an inn located in a small town called Moorland. She's a hard-working, practical individual who refuses to put up with any sort of nonsense. Some feel that this makes Sanja something of a grump, but it's really just because she cares alot about her inn and wants everything to run smoothly.

Sanja's inn becomes a sort of headquarters for a pokemon rescue team after they help banish a poltergeist that had been haunting the building and terrorizing its customers. She allows this on the condition that they help with the cooking and cleaning. Sanja herself is pretty strong and occasionaly helps with missions if business is slow.

Sanja doesn't really care all that much about her appearence. The scarf she wears was made by her grandmother, who had raised her since she was a child. Sorry for the long description. I just like making characters.

Lucien is an uptight, but intelligent, Ampharos who finds much pleasure in cleaning, cooking, and gardening. He considers himself to be a a scholar and a pastoral philosopher of sorts, but nobody takes him very seriously. Sanja finds him to be rather irritating.

Musetta ("Mimi") is a cheerful and imaginative young Ralts who hopes to become a famous dancer when she grows up. She tends to daydream alot, which often results in accidents, such as broken dishes and burnt food.

They're usually more trouble than they're worth, but Sanja keeps them around, because it's all they have..

Two Simpsons quotes in one picture. Is that an alltime high or low? I dunno, wait 'til I do three and find out! The point of this pic is that Nidorina, both of them, are often the target of onlookers or gropers. Personal experience would tell me that cat calls aren't at all flattering. Moreso when they're from the same gender. What do I look like, anyway? Between the two of them, I dunno who has it worse. Nidorina's more publically reknown due to motion picture exposure, but "Nido-san" has to deal with an idiot gawker of a boyfriend. That's a bit close to home.

So if the Nido chars went to some convention, who would they be? Pretty much everyone is either dressed according to a personality, or just because they're genuinely weird. Or because their mother put it on them. I don't watch anime, so I just generalized ideas, but here's the rundown:

Lisa and Tuff: Catgirls. They think it'll make them more attractive. HAH. Know any people like this? Needles: Superman. Because mommy thought it looked cute. Dang, I can't help but smile every time I see this kid. Diana: Frog. Oh, too cute. Charlotte: Robot who also pilots mechas or something. Theres a lot of chicks like that in those series... Totodile: Lucas. He's a momma's boy, too. "Nido-san": Bounty Hunter. If she wasn't so nice, I could see this being a real occupation. Nidorino: Magical Girl. Because he's touched in the head. Mrs. Nidorina: French Maid. Can't say it doesn't fit, unless she bought it in a small. Try the shrimp, folks, I'm here all night. Eevee: Detective. He always pretends to be one or some such, and he gives ("yucky") dames sass. Mr. Nidorino: Dr. Black Jack (slightly). I dunno, but I figured girls would want Nidorino even more now.

Now, all this aside, I actually dislike conventions. It's really just too much. However, an excuse to play dress up is an excuse to play dress up. Character wise, mind.

This picture is iconic, whether you know it or not, but I'll get to that later. When a site is named "Aqua Bunny", pics like these draw themselves. Especially considering that my competition in name only wasn't all that appropriate (which I joke about here and there). Did I really have to draw this? No. But then again, it was too much to pass up, especially if people got the overall gag (which I just mentioned). It's almost like naming a website "Hot Girls" and then having an image of a woman on fire screaming like a banchee, BUT with a bikini (so it's not a total loss?). I need to remember to do that.

So why is it iconic? Well, it's not the picture itself so much as WHO'S in them. Aqua Bunny, in a fictional sense, was inspired by the kindness that "Nido-san" showed to her own Nido species, so in part, she co-owns Aqua Bunny. Nidorina exists as the mother of all important Nidorina characters (AFAIK. Someone prove me wrong because I want to know if it's true. No, really. The operative word is IMPORTANT, though, otherwise Agnes wins), so she is practically the foundation for the literal Aqua Bunny. I wanted to use these two as site hostesses for the current design you see now (though I dunno how I would've done it). But, I dropped the idea. Still, I would say that they're pretty much the most important characters, if not for being MY first two Nidorina characters (I feel that by the time "Nido-san" was created, there had to be some other Nidorina characters out there, like Achikochi).

Strangely, though Nidorino owns Aqua Bunny in fiction, he's never around in any site promotion. Then again, Nidorina and "Nido-san" don't exist in the same universe so what difference does it make?

Kagome's friends came to her partay! :3 The blue Nidorina in the witch costume is Megumi, she never talks much but, is very kind and smart. Sakura is the pink Nidorina with the princess outfit, she is a jokster and is almost always smiling.

This is Nisanna the Nidorina and Hector 'Big Daddy' Rino the Nidoking. Nisanna has been with Big Daddy ever since she was a little Nidoran. He saved her from death after her mother abandoned her. Nisanna apparently had some sort of health problem, but Big Daddy is an ol' softie, despite his rough and tumble ways with his gang, and decided to look after her as his adoptive daugther. Nisanna's suffered a bout of penumonia on a couple of ocassions, causing her to be weak, but she's just as big a help in Big Daddy's gang by taking care of them when they're injured in their many turf wars with Emporer Aganthis and is Empoleon gang.

I can assure you Carmela and Nidorina wouldn't be close. Their dispositions oppose each other too strongly. If they ever got into the same room, it'd probably get tense. And should they start clawing at each other, Nidorino (you know which one) wins either way. There's something about Nidorina that just makes her kind of off putting to certain females, I don't know what it is, and Carmela is pretty hard to be on friendly terms with as is. Nevertheless, they'd still be on more friendly-rivalish terms than Nidorina and Bellie.

Just some fun with a pencil and characters I love to draw. In between drawing other things and continuing to take my abilities up to another level (since I hate staleness), I tend to draw a page of Nidos. Stuff like this. And honestly? I don't draw much else fan art wise any more (unless necessary, but I hardly feel like doing it spontaneously, so I guess this would seriously be the perfect website for me then, right?). But I did have to buy a new sketchbook that I declared to be completely license free (meaning no fan art whatsoever). It's a means to keep me focused and from drifting into Nido country. Anyway, I still love this page of doodles. Cute and vintage-like, but (hopefully) not flat and angular. Flat designs are a no-no.

Some more Nidos, this time including some lesser seen ones. Adding Reilina to the mix of Carmela and Nidorina makes for a nice three way hate-triangle. Oh yeah, I'm totally gonna run with that Old Navy sponsor idea in the future. You know, I was watching a bunch of late 1950's commericals one day, and I got to thinking, why don't we use animated characters to sponsor our products anymore? Where'd all the fun go? Now instead there's a bunch of commercials revolving around people working at dead end desk jobs, usually with a trio with at least one quirky guy, and the overuse of the phrase "awkward". What's awkward is how anybody could see that as entertainment. I'd love to sponsor a product with a cartoon character, with something catchy and fun so you'd actually remember it next time you went to the store. Heck, maybe I'll start looking into side work for it, things need to change around here.

The hand drawn display fonts, first and foremost, I think are pretty neat for being drawn pretty quickly (not including "coloring"). But, here's even more fun than I could fit on a sheet of paper from the last two entries of pencil doodles. That Nidoking, by the by, is from the PI series. Also, flappers, despite looking somewhat classy in this day and age, aren't anything flattering. I do like how the kids don't have any idea what's going on (Eevee doesn't really know what's going on, but he knows what he's seeing). I dunno why I stick Nidorina into classic eras, but it doesn't hurt her any. I mean, unless she's dressed like this and it's National Camera Day. Think of the scandal. =P

Wow, about 10-12 inches around here... we're snowed in! I can barely get out the door. it's annoying, but the snow is very pretty. it sparkles in the sunlight... the best type of snow. I tried my best to portray sparkling snow in this picture, but... Dx

Gray days are Big Daddy's favorite kind of day. It reminds him of the time he found Nisanna. When things are peaceful in the big city, Big Daddy and Nisanna leave to a special place about five miles from his hideout. Not many of the guys in Big Daddy's gang know about this place, but the ones who do know better than to go there unless it was something terribly important.

More Nido doodles for those who can't get enough. Oh, sorry, I was speaking in front of the mirror again. If I knew about HGTV back in 1999-2002, Nidoran would've been all over that station. But I wonder if it was as popular as it is now? Apparently, Charlotte's becoming too much of an individual these days, so how does one fix that? Why not build a toy robot lackey in her resemblance? Finally, what if the major Nido gals had to role play each other? Some fit like a glove, others are pretty laughable.

Aight, I'm just gonna say it, I don't do gijinka. Humans or animals, but not humans with animal parts or animals that might as well be humans. Whenever I attempt, it comes out weird because I can't compensate for the unnatural parts. That all said, this picture is kept because is still looks pretty ok. I mean, the theme is neat, and so is the description I wrote last time;

"Ideally, I wanted the picture to be unsettling, like when you're trapped inside what you thought was an abandoned house on a stormy night in the midst of a dense forest, and you walk into a room only to find a pale, ghostly like girl who must have been locked away because she's 'not like the rest of us', just sitting there, staring at you. Something sinister is afoot."

I do personifications instead. I've done several for Charlotte and they look a lot better than this does.

Anyway, she's supposed to be tan and kinda thick. Well, full bodied, not fat. You know, the kind of woman desired before hollywood told people otherwise.

Far from gentle and short-tempered, it's Ikusa, a character based on my LG Nidorina. She's quick to boss others around, which usually ends with a fight. Not like she minds that, punching someone in the face is a great stress relief. ...at least SHE thinks so.

I did not make this image for Aqua Bunny, but I did conceptualize making a personified and Pokemon version of the same picture, and decided to place this one for comparision. Besides, it's not often you see my works that aren't a part of the Creative Worlds domain. This image was really fun to do, as Nidorina taking the role of "Nidorie" just begs for style and flair. This is essentially how Nidorina should look. And it's not a gijinka, so I can't possibly screw it up! This also gives a better idea of her figure. I think hollywood should take this as a note that (more) Polynesian women need to be in movies. They might have some class you never knew about.
